Quick note: My friend and I came up with this last year. We were talking about how when we  grow up, we'll somehow join the Sonic team or Sega(If they still existed) and create a game that's edgier then Shadow the Hedgehog. The title: Shadow's Insanity. We roleplayed it and it actually went into a good direction. Well anyways, description:
Shadow tried his best to not let the voices get the best of him. After seeing Maria die, he's been hallucinating, hearing voices. He never got help because, of course, he didn't like people helping him. Sonic and his friends find some disturbing evidence when Shadow wouldn't return back to his house. When they find out, they try their best but Shadow pushes them away, isolating himself with the voices. Both Shadow and Sonic's friends believe that he's long gone, needing to be put out of his misery. Until one hedgehog does the impossible.All Rights Reserved

MAN IT IS GOOD TO SEE THIS AGAIN. This is a story I wrote in high school and added onto the entire four years. It was hand written by me, hand edited on paper (both to my sega genesis playing the sonic 2 boss music) then transferred to comp, for the second edit, and even then it's still edgy garbage :'). Dr Dashow has been run out of town, and in his old age he seeks to replicate the formula for life itself! He creates two creatures of pure shadow, as they grow distraught and leave causing havoc. Warning: Contains edge and death and murder or whatever. Written by a loner in high school who had no idea that periods could replace commas. Lmao. Grammatical errors abound. Also just noticed the spaces, it's spaced like that because in order to share it I had to limit my characters. It's too much of a bother to do it for EVERYTHING but just know that they are not new paragraphs, simply just cuts.

If you see "mature" it's only because there's some cussing and that's all. So this was originally just a draft for an idea of a sonic au I made but I decided to make it so y'all can read it! Small summary I guess? Amy rose has never told anyone about her past except for her bff shadow who she's known since she was 5. It all started the night her mom died in a car incident. She somehow miraculously survived but her mom didn't. Her father made a promise to his wife to protect Amy no matter what. Until he gets called for an out of town meeting (he works for a candidate who's running for president of Mobius I guess? lol idk) so he leaves Amy with a family friend who shadows mom and dad. They take care of her. Shadow and Amy always hang out together. One day shadow's mom gets a call and it's about Amy's dad. He was heading to his hotel and got in an accident and didn't survive. (Amy's aunt Ashley is Amy's mom's sister btw Amy's mom's name is Mary Ann Rose and her dad's name was Jackson Rose (they took the mom's last name because they agreed it sounded good with Amy 😂) Amy's aunt took her in after her dad passed and has taken care of her ever since. Luckily her aunt lives right across from Amy's bff shadow so she can visit him whenever she wants! They always hang out and play video games which shadow always loses. They make funny bets and Amy even makes shadow wear a dress! Anyway that's just some info about this story! All characters belong to Sega except for Luna (An original OC I've had for a long time and yes she's a Mobian she is a light purple hedgewolf with dark blue hair and teal eyes), Ashley (Amy's aunt), Jake (the bad guy lol), Mark (Amy's uncle),Alexander (Amy's dad) and Mary (Amy's mom) if I add anymore OCS I'll add it here!

So I just remembered and rewatched a movie that I literally watched on repeat HUNDREDS of times as a kid. Still knew like 95% of the words and everything. The movie in question is 'Drop Dead Fred'. I related to that movie SO much back then, still do in a way to this day. So. It has now plagued my mind and I had to. This is a story based on the movie: As a child, Sonic was often told to stay quiet, act proper, and to eventually grow to be the kind of man his mother wanted him to be. However... one day, Sonic made a friend named Drop Dead Shadow. A -slightly unhinged- friend that would always help him through the bad times... and replace them with good ones. Unfortunately, Sonic forgot about Drop Dead Shadow after some time. Until events brought him, Amy, Tails, and Rouge to Sonic's childhood home. Also, Sonic will eventually think and act more childlike eventually (kinda). This is the ONLY story I'm going to have with him behaving in such a way so don't ask for another. NOT Sonadow dis time.
