Lucy is not only a goddess but the princess of the Heavens which they call Empyrean. Her homeland is attacked and her mother and father use the last of their magic to send Lucy to earth to protect her. She loses all her memories and winds up in the front yard of a little cobble home completely naked with no understanding of the world she now inhabits.
