All of these animals have been affected by humans in some way, and must adjust themselves to a life on the streets of New York City. But with violent competition for food, rival dog packs at every turn, and gunfights to keep their fears alive, how do four stray animals survive on the streets?
Plot:
Compass has given up on humans and heartbreak. Passing through New York, he is simply looking for one place to be alone forever-to care for only himself.
That is until, one night, he is saved from danger by a German shepherd named Skyler. Skyler teaches him the ways of the streets, how to be tough, and eventually a strong bond is formed whether Compass likes it or not!
But Skyler has a secret she has been keeping. And if she keeps it for too long, it could very well endanger her life.
