In the 23rd century the world has been in wars, the political systems you know, have been overthrown, monarchy has been chosen to guide countries out of the chaos the world seemes to have become. 

When Leah - formally known as Lilliana Emilia Anessa Hecores of Amarett, heiress of the Spanish throne - has to flee from rebels, she finds herself stranded in America. With her family dead and nowhere to go she is forced to live among the poor of the country. Degraded and pained she lives in the slums of Vermont, Drummer's State. Her life has become pointless without future, struggling to survive the next day. 

A chance encounter with Crown Prince Eric of America leads to Leah being back at the palace, living a life she had only dreamed of returning to. Now not as a Princess but as a Lady of America, she buries her past and faces a new life, sneaking around with the Prince in the whirlwind of drama and strict protocols which the court of America provides. Especially,  when the new Spanish royals arrive at the palace. Torn between past and present once again, Leah finds her former identify at the verge of exposure as the Spanish Prince gets a bit too curious...
