*COMPLETED* Over the years, I'd written many pieces of writing, and shared barely a fraction of them here. As of 2022, I found myself back here again, and in dire need of somewhere to write, and somewhere to share it. This is a collection of poems covering various states of emotion throughout a journey of healing, along with a few of my best from years before. It's Okay to Use Your Big Girl Voice
Inside you will find a mixture of both, extremely RAW and refreshingly HEALING accounts of my personal war with my past. Unfortunately, Childhood sexual abuse is far too common, and many of share similar experiences. Looking back, what I could have used more than anything was someone to tell me "You're not alone, there is a lightness through the darkness, you can heal from this and most importantly don't EVER stop telling your story to make others comfortable". I've learned that silence is the best weapon for a predator, and I for one, have never been really good at doing what I'm told. I don't intend on starting now. I wear my scar as reminder that I hold the power in my own story, it is mine to tell and I won't make myself sick keeping quiet because my truths are hard to swallow, other people's comfort is not my problem. My Goal is rather simple, to let the readers know, they too are not alone. If you are a survivor, even if you still feel like a victim, this is my personal message to you. "You are strong, and it wasn't your fault. Tell someone... tell anyone...tell everyone... We shift from victims to survivors when we speak up and tell our stories. There's nothing wrong with you, and the light will shine again. The longer you sit in silence the more power your abuser still holds over you, wipe your face warrior, because there's a lion right inside of you, DONT EVER GIVE UP!" *This story is FULL of TRIGGERS, please be careful reading if triggers are hard for you, your mental health matters* *I own all the Rights to all parts of this book*
Can I Say Goodbye?
I'm always searching for something worth staying for but I can't seem to find that until then please don't mind me because I'm just a traveler passing through. When I'm not satisfied or happy I'll leave and find a new path, so just let me say goodbye... Can I say goodbye? I wrote till my hands bruised and heart bled. I wrote and wrote in hopes that some day, somebody will understand my words and all the things I wish I could say... Each poem is a story. My story. Some are fictional but most of them are true. CAUTION: I DID NOT PUT MATURE ON BUT CONTAINS SENSITIVE TOPICS OF ABUSE INCLUDING S/A... & probaly some swearing. There will be disturbing sh*t in here. This book is a poem book of my life pretty much. Its my thoughts and emotions spoken in a different suppossed to be more emotional and deeper way then just looking at what happened and crying about it. What happened can never be fixed but I won't let those people go by un-noticed and I hope karma sincerely kicks them in more then the ass someday. I don't wish pain upon no one but I do crave for them to just UNDERSTAND what they made me feel since they all walked away without a scrape, just a smirk on all their faces in the end. Or they're narcassistic. Theres also letters to people who I still think of to this day that will probably never read them but you guys still hold a special place in my heart. Poetry's Tale to Tell
One sample of my work (Note not all poems will be so serious, some are story like others are light hearted): "Every day, something happens... Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around...
