Sage Ovesque's world runs on irregularity. Everyone has to be different, or they are taken. The streets change location daily, and robots roam the streets searching for anyone who disobeys the law.
She has a secret that could either save or ruin her life and although she doesn't completely understand it, Sage knows it isn't something that can ever be exposed. Now, August and Ewan Hales could put an end to her secrecy. When Ewan is taken off the streets, she finds herself being forced to make a decision: she can either wait for her secret to be discovered, or go with August on a suicide rescue mission.
Joined by Hazen, an escaped criminal with a sharp tongue, Sage and August find themselves lost in an untamed world, with only Hazen's limited knowledge to guide them.

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect. She's built barriers around her heart, so strong that only the most powerful force could break them down. Adira was an Alpha's daughter, 19 years old, and didn't want a mate. She was too focused on figuring out what her deadly secret meant for her and those she loved. When she discovered her mate was Alpha Phoenix, she was sure the Moon Goddess was trying to punish her. As truths unfold and loyalty is put to the test, her secret comes to light. Those she loves and the ones who would hurt her without a second thought find out, and she finds out a certain Twin has her in his sights. Will she open up to Phoenix? Will he break down her walls? Or will they both drown in truth's untold?
