Elizabeth Campbell has always believed in ghosts ever since her mother read a story about goblins and ghosts on Halloween and how they pretend that they're children who are participating in the costume tradition. But the problem is, nobody else believes in ghosts.

One day when Elizabeth rides off on her horse, she comes across a ghost. Terrified and also excited, she rides back home and tells her whole town.
