Summer Plans

"I am so stoked!" My best friend Jake said as we were walking to his car. "We get to spend the whole summer together Nat, aren't you excited?" "Yeah! I can finally kick your ass at Call of Duty!" I smiled at him. It was our last day of junior year at West Ashley High school, my parents are going out to Paris for the whole summer for their job, I wouldn't say I'm a spoiled rich kid. Everyone says I am though. So I wouldn't be lonely my parents said Jake could stay the whole summer which I was excited to hear. He has been my best friend since second grade and we have been close ever since. "At least you don't have to deal with Trevor Branson anymore" "Yeah" I said quietly. Trevor, or should I say a complete asshole is the "badboy" at our school. You know the guy that goes to parties, drives a cool car, uses every girl he can get his hands on. But nope, not me. I couldn't mess with someone who probably had STD's. We pull up to my house which is amazing in my opinion, it's a beach house because we live in South Carolina an it has a small pool in the backyard and a long driveway. "Who's car that?" Jake points to the bright silver Camero that is parked terribly in the driveway. "I don't know" I said, my parent left yesterday so I wouldn't see why anyone would be here except for my car. We got out and my dog Cheya comes to me and jumps which knocks me over and cause Jake to laugh "Awh is little Natty watty hurt? He has a smug look on his face "No. Now shut up" We walk into my living room to see a suitcase by the door and a male figure facing away from us watching the T.V. I guess he heard us come in because he got up and started walking towards us. Jake and I both look at each other with shock on our faces unable to speak. I finally un break the awkward silence between all of us. "Trevor??"
