Scott Pierson and Gwen Hortaridas live similar lives. They were both mistakes despised by their parents. They were almost killed countless times, yet they both somehow manage to ruin every attempt. Finally, when they can't take it anymore, they flee from their homes. They run for many miles before the hunger, pain, cold, thirst, and loneliness kicks in. They are each wandering the forest until they find each other. They share their stories and discover their similarities. They quickly become friends and watch out for each other as they stay together and survive in the wilderness. After about a month, they fall for each other, and everything gets thrown upside down.
