I'd like to say that I have a normal life but, as an orphan kid with dyslexia and ADHD, my life has been anything but normal. It's not like I haven't tried fitting in with everyone else - believe me, I have. It's just kind of hard to fit in when you do weird things and can't explain why you were suddenly able to do it. Things such as not being able to explain why I can't sleep at night yet I can throughout the day. Or always having this natural bond with animals. Little did I know that that was just the tip of the iceberg.

I am currently editing this book before I continue writing the actual story. I will mark each chapter once it is edited.

This even goes for a small group of friends that recently moved to New York. But are they really mortal? Hailey has lived in Wisconsin all her life, yet she never seems to stay in the same spot for more than a few years. She has seen every crook and cranny of the dairy state, but after an accident, she finds herself in the state of New York. She lives with her grandma in a small house in the suburbs of Manhattan. Despite all she's been through, she loves living with the one person she felt closest to, away from trouble. Until now. Beth has grown up in the Windy City and stayed there for her whole life. Her mom has decided that going to New York for vacation would be a good idea. They're now staying in a hotel close to the beautiful sights of Long Island Sound and hopes to relax. But then she sees something by the Sound. . . . Cornelius has grown up in the ghetto and has learned to be tough. He's picked up many things on the streets and has lived off his wits and strength.
