Okay first. I do not own any of the characters, I only own the plot. SECOND, This is the Captain Boomerang from the New 52 Suicide Squad Comics, owned by DC. So I'm sorry if you've seen the movie and expect plot carry overs, like this whole thing about unicorns I've been hearing. I'm sticking to writing with the source I know best. Third, I hope you don't mind having powers that I selected. It would be very hard for me to write the story were I have to word it so every power works. -_- Now that all that stuff is done.... on to the summary. And I am so sorry if this bored the life out of you.

All my life I've been trained to be a weapon. I've been, modified, if that's even a proper term for it. I was forced onto this thing called Task Force X, but the inmates here call it the Suicide Squad. What have I done to end up at Belle Reve? Nothing. I have done nothing. I was their project. They wanted a weapon, and they got one. But, there's flaws in every system, and I know mine. Will the rest of the Squad find out? And will one of them find out how to reach me?

(I won't lie in saying I actually liked the first Suicide Squad movie. I liked the idea of picking people so unpredictable that they could potentially be a safeguard against another Kryptonian threat. However, I did feel like the writing choice to have a team of maniacs and mutants fight an alien god witch lady was a bad start to what could have been an intriguing arc of movies. Meta-Enhanced individuals who willing and intentionally put their skills to malcontent. Or even just exceptionally extraordinary human beings who just can't be contained in conventional prisons anymore. This place is where one Amanda Waller has set her eyes on, to try and give a little project of hers a test run. Task Force X, an ensemble of Maniacs, Murderers and Mercenaries that get sent on missions to potentially get time knocked off of their lengthy sentences. How will things play out for the Cadmus leader when she has to contend with clown girl psychiatrists, a mathematical genius sharpshooter and one teenager who seems to be able to match wits with her?

That was until a shooting star slammed into my house. I mean literally. It fell from the sky and onto my house. S.H.I.E.L.D covered it up. The blast killed my whole family. Apart from myself that is.
