We weren't really the type of people who were supposed to mix. In fact, Phil was the type of person who was supposed to make fun of me, and I was the kind of person who was supposed to scoff at his life choices.
We weren't supposed to become friends.
And we most certainly were not supposed to fall in love.
But life has a way of ignoring how things are supposed to be, doesn't it?
