let's start with a VERY possible situation Pete met Patrick after ending a polygamous relationship with Mikey and Gerard way. Patrick is a "normal"kid to everyone else but he recently told his best friends of his "drawn" cuts and "painted" scars though these are his words he believes that he is one word away from having his friends say that to him and becomes selectively mute only speaking to a very few people.

One of them being he gets stage fright easily, another being his parents are crazy religious and wouldn't approve of it. He mentioned it once and they sent him to a private lutheran school. Now, the only way he can come close to expressing himself is through praise band- even then he holds himself back to the point of sounding mediocre, but just good enough to be better than the other people that auditioned. What made it worse was that it was completely his fault. His mother notices his behaviour afterwards and sends him to a therpy group. He knows he can't be 'cured' because there was nothing to 'cure'. This was him, left with the faded memories of the 'incident'. Gerard Way had to move schools because of bullying. Of course, it wasn't exactly bullying if quart labled it as abuse. His arms are adorned in long sleeves at all times. His mother takes to this and sends him to therapy. Group Therapy. Ever since preschool, Pete and Mikey were worst enemies. It started off as kicking down block towers and scribbling over drawings to full on rivalry - throwing punches and yelling insults. Gerard was eager to change this, and made friends with Pete's friendship group. As the two groups hung out every lunch, Pete and Mikey reckoned they were living in hell. But as a school project involved the two getting more time together, their opinions may change. Brendon was never the most thoughtful person. He was not particularly liked amongst the student body, he was known for ruining relationships and spreading nasty secrets. But he never really felt empathetic to these hurt people, not until he had managed to ruin his own relationship. As Brendon realised his life isn't quite complete without Ryan, he knew he needed to get him back. And try to be less self-centred.
