A new take on the classic 1987 movie "Dirty Dancing" and stage production by Eleanor Bernstein! Helping me with this story is my wonderful coauthor Kimberly Gleiser @arosetosomeone, who writes an Aaron Tveit fanfiction on Wattpad, who also plays as Elizabeth Jameson in the story.
It's the summer of 2016 and 19 year-old Embrianna "Nikki" Hudson, is about to learn some major life lessons on growing up, a little bit of here and there about dancing, and most importantly: love. On vacation with her family at the Kellerman's Resort Hotel in Hawley, Pennsylvania with her parents, Finn & Rachel Hudson and her adopted older sister, Lela Hudson, Nikki begins showing absolutely no interest in the resort's so-called "family fun filled activities", she then discovers her own new entertainment when she stumbles upon the staff quarters during a full blown dance party, which is kicked into high gear. Amazed by the crazy dance moves and blaring music, Nikki can't wait to be apart of it all. Especially, when her eyes lock with Aaron Tveit, the resort's handsome dance instructor. Nikki's life is about to change forever when she gets thrown into deeper waters as Aaron's leading lady both onstage and off with astonishing consequences.
