A collection of stories that are short and doesn't take long to read. Suitable for people who aren't in the mood of reading a super long novel. :)
The number of words will be placed at the end of the title, usually around 1000 words each.
As you may notice if you look at the contents list, most of these stories were written in 2017, a good few years ago! I believe that my writing has improved a bit since then, so if you would like to see more of my more recent works then visit stories from Part 29 onwards!
Also, a snapshot of what is in this book:
- individual short stories, like this one
- small series, like "The Colour of U" or "Pompeii, it's August"
- an alphabetical list I started, I was going to write a short story for a class of 26, one chapter for each student and hoping to explore how some of their lives are intertwined. This would be spaced out among the later chapters, as sometimes I'd rather do some of the first two types.

Cynical Souls
COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. Today I'm turning my fiction to reality. ❣️•••❣️ Excerpt: Just as I was about to seek shelter under some building's roof, the tires of a car come to a halt, I wonder who might pity the lonely girl walking in the rain. The passenger window rolls down, and I spot the most unexpected person seated behind the wheel. "Get in" comes out his voice, and I must've stood there agape for a few moments because next comes his rhetorical question. "Are you getting in or continuing walking in the rain?" Eyebrows raised expectantly. Through vast consolidation begets a single empire bordering on the mere idea of war with an enemy threatening to destroy its entire existence, starting from the inside. Many call it tyranny, others, vengeful menace, but it's taking them down. One by one. A series of events follow, including a spy, a plan destined to fail and a desperate offer that puts everything on the line. She wasn't what they were hoping for. But they take what they can get. Once rejected by the place they called home, five estranged teens jump at the opportunity for an escape. Thrust into an unknown underwater society at random, it's a gamble for life and death, win or lose. The first in the Gone trilogy. ❝People change. Memories don't. ❞ I had that one person. That one person who would be my brightness in the dullest of days (trust me, there were a lot) just by gracing me with his presence. The frown that was permanently etched on my face would always seemingly dissipate into the happiness I felt when we'd meet up, running into his arms like he was my safe place. Everyone expected him to have someone, but no one thought it'd be me. No one wanted it to be me. Looking back on it now, it seemed like a typical love story. Him, the kind and gentle-hearted boy and I, the rude and cold-hearted girl. He wasn't kind, he wasn't gentle-hearted because if he was, then he wouldn't have left. Without a word. His lack of words towards me doesn't mean that I'm left speechless. In fact, I have a thousand words wanting to just slip off my tongue right this moment. Just because he's gone. #1 IN SHORT STORY COLLECTION (3/21/20) #1 In DealWithTheDevil #5 in Teenager #7 in Devil (As of 7/04/2018) Every touch on your skin is hot, burning even, like it'll evaporate you if you take even one more. He has you pinned against the wall and is scanning your body with his now glowing red eyes. They only glow for two reasons- for anger, and for desire. "Didn't you always read in stories that I'm a master of temptation? Of manipulation?" He breathes lightly against your neck, tilting your head by the wad of hair he's now twisted around his finger. Your heart races against his body as you realize once again the deal you've made. "I never believed in that stuff," you squeak out an answer in between pants. His servants knock on the door, and with a snap, he locks it tight. You feel one of his fangs trace the thin of your skin and you jolt. He smirks. "And yet you saw the unbelievable and still dealed with me. You brave, sexy little thing," He picks you up by the thighs and walks you to the bed that he's now snapped a black comforter onto before throwing you onto it. Just as you catch your breath, chains appear around your ankles and wrists as he traces kisses up your shin. You watch him crawl up your thigh just before catching a glimpse of the tribal pentagram on your hip that glows the closer he gets to it. "You're mine now, Kaya." WARNING: This story is HOT! SEXY SCENES AND Vulgar language, and a steamy, STEAMY relationship between a demi-demon and Lucifer himself. Viewer discretion is advised.Complete

Not a Love Story
(Exactly what it sounds like. It's really not a love story. ) "Do you like me?" You're straight forward I forget that sometimes. I open the drink and look at it as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. I sigh, it's a habit now, and take a gulp. "So?" You ask again. I put the drink on a table next to your bed and sit properly. "I don't know." I say honestly. You didn't seem fazed but you did seem a bit confused. "What do you mean you don't know?" I shrug and decide that the floor is the next best thing to look at. "I like you." I laugh at this and see you don't. "Don't say that. You don't like me. You don't." I say as my smile fell and I looked to your eyes, mine were filled with sadness. But enjoy the book :)Complete
Echoes of love- Will I ever belong?
I grab my pen and start writing. Dear diary, I see everyone finding love at this age, even if they don't last. The people are happy with their lover. Tell me dear diary, will I find the love I'm seeking so bad? I finish my sentence in my diary. This story was written out of boredom by me.
