Four years after Moana and Maui, the Heroes of Motunui, rescue the island from the dark magic that was draining its life source, a new threat arises. With a grudge against both of the heroes, crustacean Tamatoa returns from the realm of monsters to try yet again to claim the heart of Tafiti and to steal Maui's hook. In an effort to stop him, Moana is kidnapped and held hostage in the realm of monsters, leaving her fate and the fate of the island in the hands of her best friend, Alohi Kahele and Maui the demigod.

Note: I do not own any of the characters portrayed in this fan fiction except for Alohi and any other characters you do not recognize from the original Moana movie.

The Heart of Tangaroa✔️

18 parts Complete

Two years after Moana returns to Motunui, her life seems to have gone back to what it was before Te Fiti. Chiefly duties outweigh the calling of the sea, Maui has been gone for what seems like ages, and Moana's unhappiness returns, but is now self inflicted. However, destiny has big plans for its 'Little Ocean'. After swallowing one of Auahitūroa's (God of Comets) stars by accident, Tangaroa (God of the Sea) gives his heart to the Ocean so it will be protected from Auahitūroa's wrath. Somehow (but not really a mystery) Moana comes across the heart on the shores of Motunui. It unfortunately comes with a few consequences, including a new relationship with the water, conscious tattoos which come from nowhere and Moana's new status as a Demigoddess of the Great Ocean, and half-daughter of Tangaroa. What could possibly go wrong?
