Fifteen years ago, Heide suffered the worst night of her life, trapped in the belly of the beast that killed her grandmother. Fifteen years ago, she was told she was mad for believing the fanciful notions of a talking wolf who dressed in her grandmother's clothes, and the hunter who cut her out of the animal's stomach, saving her life. Fifteen years she spent fearing her nightmares, the woods, and even the color for which she used to be known for.
But a chance encounter with the hunter who wasn't supposed to actually exist has Heide questioning not only her fears for the past fifteen years, but also the darkness of the world around her, and the real monsters that lurk in the world. And Heide has a bone or two to pick with them.

The Wolf and the Crimson Hood
They warned her about the forest. They told her it was cursed, that no one who entered Ebon Hollow ever returned. That monsters lurked beyond the boundary, waiting to drag the foolish into the darkness. Alina Everwood never believed in fairy tales. But when her grandmother falls deathly ill and the only cure lies deep within the forbidden woods, she has no choice but to face the unknown. Determined to save the only family she has left, she crosses into the Hollow, only to come face to face with the one creature she was always told to fear. A wolf with golden eyes and silver-gray fur, far larger than any she has ever seen. A hunter cloaked in shadows, watching her with something far too human in his gaze. But the deeper she ventures, the more she learns the truth. The real monsters wear human faces. The wolf is not the danger, he is the warning. And now that she has entered his domain...he will never let her go. A dark fairytale retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, blending slow-burn romance, danger, and the call of the wild.
