And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.

I had been running for what felt like hours. My legs were burning, and I knew my body was about to give out. The tears that had long since dried still clung to my face. I was covered in bruises and cuts from tearing through the forest. Everything hurt-not just my body, but my heart as well. Just hours ago, I was at a motel with my mom, arguing about dinner, and now she was gone. She killed herself to protect me. That's what I keep telling myself, but deep down, I know it's not true. She was tired of running, tired of hiding. The hunters were close, too close, and to avoid being captured and tortured again, she decided to exit on her own terms. I had to get out of here fast. But I had nowhere to go, nowhere to run or hide-still, I kept going. Thankfully, I had good instincts and the one lesson my mother ever taught me: shapeshifting. She watched her eyes, it was like her own reflection was looking at her, just than she felt her green eyes turning to electric blue, she got startled, then she turned and walked towards her bed, "It's like I am having hallucinations, can't die properly even " she said to herself and went to her bed. ****** She got up late in the morning; she didn't want to go to school. She turned to the other side of her bed. Still eyes closed she looked for a pillow but instead her hand touched something very hard, it was like a human arm, the manly odor was surrounding, first she thought she was dreaming, She hold him softly and hugged him. He was snoring faintly. She opened her eyes instantly, it was some unknown man on her bed and he was sleeping peacefully beside her, she narrowed her eyes to confirm it was indeed what she was seeing, she got up a bit while putting pressure over her arm. His light brown hair were fallen over his forehead, His broad chest was moving up and down as he breaths, when she realized that it was not dream, she got up and screamed. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh". An ordinary love story? Think again.
