The first few chapters are little boring but do get better as the story continues so bare with me.
"Who are you?" I asked with fear. The figure's answer was to grab my throat and let out a small growl, he clearly didn't want me asking questions.
"Your name?" He said but it came out of his growl, he didn't talk like a normal person, was he even a person?
"Lexi Reid" I said with fear etched in my voice, it was hard to talk with wet, slimy hand around my neck and the smell of death coming out of him, his breath smelled like flesh or something, it was the stuff of nightmares to be honest.
"You're coming with me" He growled again, his words came out slow making them sound creeper than usual. He started walking with his hand still around my throat.
"No! No please! Someone help!" I screamed trying to pull away from his grip but of course he just tightened it making it very difficult for me to breathe.
"Quiet!" He roared as another monster like growl came out of no where and then quickly disappearing like I had a imagine it, maybe I did. He continued to pull me by the throat not caring if he was choking the life out of me, he clearly didn't need me alive so why was he keeping me alive because things would be quicker and easier for him if he just killed me. As we turned the corner of my street I felt his grip loosen so I closed my eyes thinking this is it, he's going to kill me but he then completely let go as if he had been rip off of me.
Lexi Reid is a sixteen year old supernatural hunter but is somehow different from every other hunter out there. She doesn't know why or how she's different, all she knows is to hunt the creature of the night but what happens when one of those creatures captures her heart and another is responsible for her being alive today.
