Arian Nightblood has seen enough death, hate, blood, and pain for a lifetime, and she's only 16. With a broken family she has had to grow up too quick, and has had to face the ugly truth, that the world isn't all it's cracked up to be.
Adults won't listen to her, she's too young for them. She has insight into this world of pain, and she wants to warn her peers that the world isn't gonna save them. She's a millennial, as are her friends, and no one will believe her when she explains what it's like out in the world.
