As punishment, the people of the land were submitted to having their tongues removed, to prevent communication and speaking out against the government, and their emotions permanently 'frozen' in this demented procedure to keep them under control."

What happens if you wake up and the world you know is gone? The country you called home is a shadow of its former self, divided and at war. Worst still, the only person you love is missing, lost in this hostile world. This is a bleak portrait of a dis-United Kingdom where North is fighting South, and the rest of the world has been turned upside down. Inspired by a dream (nightmare?) my father had when I was young, I started writing this story years ago and discovered it again recently, determined to finish it.
