[Being rewritten completely]

A young girl meets Donatello when he hides on her fire escape, injured. She treats his wounds and promises to keep his existence a secret, Donatello feels as though he can trust her and continues to talk to her.

  "You're- you're not scared of me?" He asked staring into her golden brown eyes, she shook her head as she brushed a hand through her light brown hair.
  
  "No, why would I be?" She responded, Donatello shrugged looking from her to her brightly decorated room. 
  
  "I'm a freak," He began looking back at her, "Anybody would be scared." The girl shook her head.
  
  "Nope," She replied dabbing one of his cuts with an alcohol wipe, "My name's Haven." She introduced herself with a smile, Donatello smiled back.
  
  "I'm Donatello, but you can call me Donnie."

Donnie's Ranting Mind: Stolen Love (1) de Jesse_M_Love

Donnie is Non-Binary. That would normally be fine, but a new side of their life is starting to get in the way of coming out. This "new side" is named Brandon Carter, a human boy. Donnie met Brandon when he was 15 & they were 14, a year before the Shredder incident. Brandon is the one that helped Donatello realize they were Non-Binary when they were 16 & he was 17, just after the Kraang incident. Brandon had opened a whole new world to them. Now, Brandon is 22 years old & Donatello is 21 years old. Donatello is out to April, Leo, & Splinter. And that's it. Donatello is petrified to come out to Raphael, Michelangelo, Casey & Vern. They shouldn't be so anxious since they've known their brothers since they were literal infants & they've known Casey & Vern for as long as they've known April. Brandon isn't making the situation any better, either. Donatello finds it awfully hard to focus on themself when they keep thinking of Brandon. Until Brandon & other Civilians get captured by the Foot Clan, led by Master Karai & Doctor Stockman. Karai & Stockman reveal that the civilians are to be test subjects for a new virus-like recreation of the mutagen. Vincent gives Donnie a lead (but they already knew). When the turtles find the place, they are able to save the civilians with help from April, Casey, & Vern. The Foot Clan then bomb the building. But Brandon is still trapped in his containment unit. Leo tries to get Donnie to leave, but they can't leave Brandon. They find a way to hack into the system & disconnect a weakening Brandon from the tubing, but he is still in the cage. Donnie is able to break it & holds Brandon close as the building collapses around them. They both make it out alive, & they are scared to lose Brandon again. Which leads them to reveal their newest project: an engagement ring. Then, Leo asks why Donnie risked their life for Brandon. That's when Donnie reveals that they are non-binary & that they've been dating Brandon in the first place.

And since they are 17, they have to go to high school! If you were wondering what the turtles look like in my story, look at the title page. And none of the pictures belong to me. So I just remember a man in armor and then nothing. Years later, I live in the shadows and watch over people in New York. Until one night, that all changed. I met a female about my age. I followed her to a subway where I saw the Foot Clan scaring people. I saw the girl. With a gun pointed right at her. Until I saw the lights turn off. I made my move. I got some Foot. And ran into four giant mutant turtles. Then, my life changed. I was gonna find the man who killed my parents and changed my life all that time ago.
