Polariods Get Yellow is a collection of original poetry by Catherine M. Harris. It includes such favorites as "God and the 401" and "My Boy". Catherine M. Harris has previously been published by StoryTeller Magazine and was a Judge's Choice winner in the Toronto Star Short Story Contest for her short story "Candles". She has won numerous awards for her writing including a poetry contest by the National Library for its 100th anniversary.

The poems in this book (subtitled Book 1) encompass various views of her life and relationships - some that are fictional that express a feeling, and some that are actually lyrics to songs. The artwork and most of the photography in it are also created by Catherine.

Loud annnoying noises that disrupted my peace. All I craved was serenity, a sanctuary from the whirlwind of thoughts in my mind. But then, like a sudden gust of wind, she entered my life. she was a storm of chaos, who flipped my peaceful world completely upside down. I couldn't stand her. She was embodied chaos itself, and I was determined to despise her until the very end. But little did I know that her chaos would become the only essence of my peace. The chaos is 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐡𝐚 𝐟𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐯. I have had my fill of dictators in my life. Everywhere I turned, I encountered coldness. All I yearned for was warmth. The cozy feeling that wraps around you like a soft warm blanket after being drenched in the rain completely and going numb. I have already had enough coldness and dictatorship in my life and the last thing i needed was another person adding to it. He was the epitome of frigidity, capable of freezing you with a single glance. I despise dictators and the chilling aura they bring. And I absolutely despised him. I couldn't stand him one bit. But little did I know that the warmth I was so desperately searching for would be found in that Antarctica of a person. The dictator is 𝐙𝐚𝐲𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤.

"Please Harry! I promise I won't do anything ever again, just please don't hurt me," I beg as I look into his now dark eyes. I see him pull out a scarf, as involuntary tears start to stream down my cheeks. "Don't worry babe. I'm not going to kill you," he says as he brings up his big hand to my face and uses his thumb to wipe away a tear. "I am only going to make you wish that you were dead," he whispers devilishly into my ear. || Annabel Fleming is finally getting a week off from her stressful college life.
