Prologue
The night was dark in downtown Seattle, the crisp fall air whizzed around me as I walked to the quaint bar on 3rd street.
My phone buzzed from my purse and as I'm checking it I run into something hard. "Oh shit sorry." The guy mumbles embarrassed, his face turns a pink color from behind his thick rimmed glasses. I shake my head "No it was my fault." I laugh it off. The guys eyes soften and he seems nervous. I'm unsure of what to do so I walk around him , he grabs my arm gently "What's your name?" His voice is soft but timid , I flush tucking a strand of my chestnut hair behind my ear "Ana." The guy smiles , a shy smile and clears his throat "Why do I feel like I know you?" He murmurs taking a step closer. I gulp and take a few steps back "I don't think you do." I glance around to make sure people are still around us. The guy watches me for a second , his gaze is intense. I study his face , his jaw is covered with dark brown scruff and he has warm green eyes but they are covered with glasses. A car honking startles me and before I know it the guy is walking off quickly.
I raise an eyebrow at his retreating figure , how strange.
