Carrie Benson is in her junior year in Beacon High. After a heartbreak and changed personality, Junior year doesn't look very inviting. Victoria Walters faked a suicide attempt so that she could come to New York. She just transferred, and has a lot of hyperactivity issues. Aria Sanders is the quiet girl with black nail paint who can steal a bike and sketch like a pro. Carrie meets Vic and Aria, both seniors. They become fast friends, and together, they brighten the prospects of Carrie's Junior year. It's when Vic finds Carrie's secret Bucket List which she'd made one drunk night that they realize the real Carrie is different. And the two of them are as determined to bring out the real, fun Carrie, as she is to help them find themselves and what they really want to do, before graduation.
