Malia liked to pretend everything around her was alright.

She had a decent life, I mean, she was Negan's daughter, after all. Everyone in the Sanctuary treated her like a little princess, but she didn't necessarily agree with everything that happened around her. She didn't agree with the things her father and his people would do to people if they didn't comply.

She'd tried to talk to him about it before, but he would simply brush her off and say it's business, and that business needs to be dealt with and taken care of before it gets out of hand. Malia, however, doesn't see things that way.

Although she is slightly cold-hearted and rude, she almost never uses force on a person, unless she feels she really needs to. Her father is pretty much the opposite, which she didn't mind until about now.

After finding out that he'd done to that one group from Alexandria, it made her re-think things. It made her slightly afraid of her own dad after seeing the polaroids..

One night, her and her father had gotten into an argument, and that simply pushed her over her limit and she finally got to her senses. She left that same night, without a trace.. She'd lived alone on the road for a few days before eventually stumbling across a boy who looked just about her age (Carl).

He forces her to go to wherever he came from for questioning, since she was "too close for comfort". That was when she finally realized that the place she was being taken to was Alexandria itself.

She just might've hit the jackpot...
