"Don't leave like this."

The words weren't from family, nor from friends, but from within. Could she really, in light of tragedy, leave her family having lost her too?

She could. And she did.

If was her responsibility, her father's legacy to uphold, and the most important cause that could be found in the country. So yes, she did leave like that.

And by god, she regretted it.

The choice to leave that night turned her world upside down, the guaranteed turned into the unknown, the safe into the risky. After that one choice, her life could never be the same again.

Her life never was the same again.

So for better or for worse, she found herself in the middle of a war (as well as in front of it), with entirely new people, and with a tremendous amount of insecurity. She wasn't even secure in who she was; though, she certainly knew better than everyone around her.

So after that night, after that decision, she firmly believed that the universe was pitted against her, that the gods had some sort of vendetta.

It wasn't for a long time until she realized that she had found what happens when stars align.

A dark truth that risked breaking him apart, that could mar his existence. In all these though she was at the center of it all, Madison Connor. Lord help him. She was the beginning of his downfall, his damnation and motivation. *** He was the one man she couldn't avoid back then, and the man she couldn't resist. Damien Daniel, her childhood crush who never looked her way even once. Her brother's enemy. She was too small for him, not sexy or beautiful enough for him, too shy to even talk to him. Their attraction was unmistakable, almost beyond control, but as much as she ached to be his, she feared the pressure of his demands. *** Submitting to each other meant they had to break so many rules. The woman in the mirror (Harry Potter fanfic) by Papillon98
23 parts Complete
Fear strikes the hearts. Doubt enters the minds and trust is the one thing they need but can't find. Harry hears voices. A voice coming from the walls, whispering words that shouldn't be spoken. Something has been set loose. Something that should've never entered the grounds in the first place. Something that shouldn't even exist. People get suspicious. Is Harry to blame? Artemis wants to help him clear his name, but she soon finds her mind preoccupied with her own problems. Old doubts have resurfaced after her family gets torn apart. Parts of her history are revealed. Everyone has been lying to her and Artemis starts doubting everything she knew until now. Because being yourself is hard when you don't know who you are. The dream was the beginning. The mark was the clue. And the woman in the mirror was the answer. ~~~ The woman in the mirror is the second book in the Artemis Lupin series. Read 'The girl with golden hair' first. She was used to investigating mysteries on her own. People were untrustworthy. They lied. They tried to change the past. But the past couldn't be changed. Her own past was complicated. Especially because she wasn't the one hiding it, it was kept from her. For a good reason, they thought. The dream was her only lead. The only way to figure it all out. The dream was simply the end of a curse and the beginning of a nightmare. Because some secrets are better kept secret. The web of lies and deceit only got more complicated. Familymembers talked out of turn. The wise man was far too interested and the dark saw the truth in her eyes. Because her dream was simply the story. The story of betrayal, friendship but mostly death. But the thing that could ruin it all, was the very thing they couldn't change. It was the only truth in the past of lies. Her grey eyes and his black blood. ~completed on 29 August 2017~ (*Disclaimer* all rights go to J.K. Rowling. You can read this without having read the book.)

"You've gotta move out soon, Lafayette. You're so annoying to have to put up with." "Oh, I'M annoying? Heh. Your dad must not have told you. You're nothing less than a burden, (Y/N)." "I hate you, Lafayette." "I hate you more, (Y/N). Trust me." *** After America won the war, Lafayette realized he had nowhere to go. With the little amount of money in his pockets, he couldn't sail to France and buy a house there. Or anywhere. He hated his parents for making him live on his own after the war was over. Lafayette began to turn to close friends and asked them if he could live with them until be had enough money to buy a house of his own. They all refused. Finally, as a last resort, he turned to his ex-commander, George Washington, and his daughter (if you're a dude, you can change this), (Y/N). The Washingtons and Marquis de Lafayettes were close, so Lafayette knew Washington would say yes. Well, most of the Washingtons and Marquis de Lafayettes were close. Lafayette and (Y/N), however, weren't. Ever since they met (which was when they were, like, six, on a vacation to France the Washingtons were on), they seemed to be fighting all the time. They couldn't stand each other. Both of them began to dread the frequent visits of the two families. So you can imagine (Y/N)'s devastation when her dad agreed to let Lafayette stay for as long as he needed. What would happen? I mean, with two enemies in one house, anything could happen.

Becoming a Founding "Father"- Historical Hamilton

50 parts Complete

Time traveling to the 1760s is as fun as you would've thought it to be. Too bad that I didn't think about it, and now I'm stuck in a foreign time with some orphan child from the Caribbean and no knowledge on how anything works. ---- The fifth of July. Such an average day, compared to the Fourth of July. To her, neither of those dates were supposed to matter, being European and all that. But when she is plunged into a different time, and is made to fight for a country that's not hers, she's wouldn't be surprised if that date will be engraved in her grave. And it is, which is strange, considering she's not dead. She's just... lost. ---- This is historically accurate-ish. I swear I'll fix the mistakes one day, but NOT TODAY BABYY In other words, I didn't find any historical Hamilton time travel fanfiction, so I wrote some myself. (FIRST DRAFT) CONTENT WARNING: This story contains some racist, sexist and homophobic language that reflects the historical time period when it's set.
