Alpha and her daughter were able to stay in their home, but Nick Fury was adamant that the girl and her daughter were under a watchful eye. That watchful eye being Clint Barton. She and Clint didn't have too much in common, not until after she accidentally showed him her powers that she tried to keep secret. Secrets weren't very easy to keep under the watchful eye of Clint Barton...

As soon as she had graduated, she was able to get a job as a doctor for S.H.I.E.L.D. Her father didn't know about her job, but he knew she was working as a doctor somewhere. Mercedes kept quite a bit from her father, one thing being her boyfriend. He didn't know of the man his daughter was in love with. He didn't know that the man was almost eight years older than his daughter. He didn't know that the man was an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. What happens when Tony Stark finds out about all of the secrets Mercedes had kept from him over the years?
