Sirius Black doesn't expect to find out anything overly important when he reads Remus Lupin's diary. After all, the last time he read it was in second year, and although they had found out he was a werewolf Sirius didn't think there was anything else Remus was hiding. What he discovers leaves him in a whirlwind of confusing emotions and leaves him wondering; who was this mysterious guy that Remus seemed to be falling in love with, and how dare they hurt his Moony.
Update: Wow @ me, at least ur better at writing descriptions than u are at story titles (please suggest titles people I need help). Also now I know where I was going with this lmao. Chapter 2 is better than chapter 1 because my writings improved in the year and a half since I first posted this. Crossposted on ao3

Remus was glad he could play the song well enough by now that he didn't have to look down at his hands constantly, but then he made the stupid mistake of looking up at Sirius. He was drenched in sweat and his satin shirt clung to his torso, his dark hair hanging over his face in glistening black waves. Remus felt his breath catch in his throat as Sirius locked eyes with him, making his way over to Remus as he continued to sing, before leaning against the back of the piano to sing to Remus. Remus prayed that the heat of the stage and their performance would suit as a good enough excuse as to why his face was probably flushed red. He didn't think that Sirius Black could look any more gorgeous than he did at that moment, his grey eyes alive with joy, the light catching them as he stared at him, singing in his slightly husky voice, his face shiny with sweat and that damn guitar slung around his shoulder.
