In the year 20XX, the world feared the Kitsune that wandered silently in the shadows. Everyone saw them as evil, wicked things that love to play tricks with people, only to kill them afterwards out of sheer enjoyment. However, what the normal citizen doesn't know is that these "evil" Kitsune are actually called the Yako, or Nogitsune, the ones that are actually doing the killing while the "good" Kitsune are called the Zenko. Frightened people cannot tell the difference unless they are to see a murderous act before them. Because of this, there are human hunters--Executioners--that go out and hunt them down, and since people think the Zenko and Yako are all the same, they'll kill any one of them as soon as they are found.
For Kaliko, that is a bit of a problem. All she wanted was to have a normal life with normal people, normal friends, a normal school life, but deep down she carried with her the blood of a Kitsune, and she had the tails to prove it. Eventually she was brought in by a kind and caring woman who had actually taught her how to conceal her Kitsune side, granting her the life she had wanted. Friends were made, relationships blossomed. It was all that she could ever ask for. But the past eventually catches up to her, and she must choose to either give in and have her friends despise her completely, or fight on their side and prove that not all Kitsune are as bad as they would seem. All because of a single promise.

She has a terrible background story to where her mother passes away when she was only three years old she's lived on by herself despite the fact that she had no one to turn to. She suffered long and hard despite the fact she had no one to have them care for her cuz everyone despised her because she was a half-demon. Most people would turn away and run because they were scared of her thinking that she was going to kill them as she got older that's how the villagers acted. But once she met a boy that was fighting off demons from his village finding him off by himself she knows that he was getting attacked by a whole bunch of demons and decides to save his life. But not to mention I actually worked really hard to write this book I started it back in 2016 and finished in 2017 then edit it in 2018 fixing all the grammar errors. A young Kasai kitsune, or Fire kitsune, is chased out of his skulk. The all powerful Tengoku's send a messanger to his dreams and tell him his new destany. Memories of his mother warm his heart, thoughts of his abusive skulk members haunt him. As young as he is, he makes powerful decisions, he could affect the entirity of his world. Making new friends and unlocking powerful knowledge, how will he continue his journey once he is grown up to much? Side Note: I am here publishing chapter by chapter because I want to know if this is a story that anyone would really want to read. I am here for all types of criticism from everyone that reads. Please be respectful though. I am open to all tips, tricks, topic, and if there's something we don't agree on, I am fully open to having a conversation and hearing you out, just remember that this is my story. Im mostly just wanting to make sure my story isn't SUPER offensive, although there is a bit of homophobia in the book, It is for plot and character development, I am not homophobic. I always knew there was more to her than keeping me safe during the war between Glass and Stone that almost took out a town called Dooms, Virginia. Hey, with a name like Dooms, I guess you should expect an apocalypse or two. When I was a baby, my parents gave me to a crazy cult lead by a magic-wielding, Bible-beating psycho called the Glass Man. To get his way, he was willing to kill whoever he needed to. Even me. An army of monsters and people took him out before he could. Most people don't know about that stuff. People like thinking that magic is fake and that the world is boring. They want to believe that monsters are just things you read about in books. But a very real and powerful monster is coming after Kon and will stop at nothing to get her! No matter what, I'll die to keep her safe! I may look normal, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve. To save Kon, I'm gonna have to fight my way past wolf-monsters, humanoid crows that call themselves the Widow Boys, and even more! I thought I knew what I should be afraid. I didn't.
