Jessica blackrose found herself back in Los Angeles the one place she never thought she'd see again. Ghost of her former life all around her and new demons waiting for her. Tasked with restoring the Ventrue to their rightful place within the domain she faces challenges she never imagine.
"By any means necessary" takes on a whole new meaning when she is forced to investigate an old friend and steal the primogenship from him. His anger and jeliousy forces her to do the unthinkable and make a sacrifice that surely will cost her the primogenship.
Now she must find a way to regain the momentum she lost, restore the Ventrue to their their former glory, and conclude her investigation. The odds are stacked against her. She'll learn the true price of power and the lengths she'll go to achieve it.

King Death, the leader of the army, is willing to destroy the dark kingdom and take over it. Danger must have the kingdom prepared for the war, before it's too late. With a few friends she meets along the way, they're willing to help her. Including a man she admires, but is too naive to realize that she's in love with him. With the kingdom getting ready for a battle, it's up to Danger and her people to defeat the Kingdom of the Dead. Can she do it? Will she be able to make it out as a dark queen? A few dark sabbatical years between university studies mark the past of Timothy, who has a few more memories, of a few more things, than he knows what to do with. He is now trying to restart a study path already once forsaken, in a human life that isn't quite his. A young man in a fragile human body, with a vampire's soul. With the start of a new academic year, he finds old acquaintances and new friends. Clover is a witch, with her magical powers equaling those of an oven glove. And she suspects one of their friends to be possessed by a demon. Lavender however is blissfully oblivious of her friend's suspicions and thinks she is losing her mind with vivid nightmares and huge gaps in her memory. Valentina, meanwhile, would be happy with just one recovered memory. She would love to know how she became tattooed, or even just what the Chinese character on her ankle means. But, as some of her friends know, the price of that one memory might be set higher than she is willing to pay. (There are some ethically interesting choices from the main characters, thus the mature rating. But nothing graficly shocking should be included, just a couple of murders discussed that could absolutely not be avoided.) (All characters are strictly fictional. I feel this should be highlighted, for while inspiration is always tied to the outer world, imagination composes a story out of it and colors the outcome with dreams and nightmares.)
