The Ballad of The Amberstone
If you're like me, you're tired-tired of being told you're ordinary, tired of doing the same thing that everyone else is doing, tired of the countless books, movies, and stories that imprint the idea that only The Chosen One can change the world while the rest of us are forced to watch from the sidelines. If you're like me, then you're also not The Chosen One. But wouldn't you like to be? If you were given the chance to be The Chosen One, wouldn't you take it? What if you knew it was a stone-cold lie? My journey unfolds on a secret island located somewhere between the end of the road and the middle of nowhere. Upon arrival, the inhabitants believed I was Gabriel-the prophet of the prophecy destined to save the island of Concordia from an extinction-level civil war. There's just one problem: I am not Gabriel. But that didn't stop me from stealing the mantle of The Chosen One for myself, unprepared for the consequences this lie would unfold and ill-equipped for what being The Chosen One really means. What followed was an epic clash of culture, values, and heart as each of the five divided Kingdoms of Concordia tried to convince me that their way of life was best. Pagod na siya, so uminom siya ng sleeping pill para makatulog. Pero paggising niya? Boom! Nasa loob na siya ng mismong kwento niya! Hindi pa tapos ang story niya, pero ngayon, kailangan niyang mabuhay sa mundo na siya mismo ang gumawa. Habang naghahanap siya ng paraan para makabalik sa totoong mundo, unti-unti niyang naiintindihan na ang kwento niya... hindi lang basta kwento. Would she find her way out-or would she rewrite her destiny entirely?

The tale of Estavir is a metaphorical dive into my burned out mind as he searches for deeper meaning and climbs Mt. Sensan-Ghi filled with trials to test his heart. This is my first published work of fiction. It was conceptualised during a burnout I experienced back in 2017. With support from family, friends and a professional with whom to talk, I tried working through the burnout over the period of a year. At each stage of my journey I created a story to help me process. It's bizarre, a bit dark slightly existential and close to my heart. Please enjoy.Concluída
Erkenci Kuş: Broken Promises
Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!Concluída
