It started with a mirror that took young Evelyn home to Thedas, after being away for millennia she finds herself in the middle of a war. After battling demons, building the inquisition and falling in love she faces the terrible truth that her secret will be found and the world she has come to love will crumble. Death, betrayal and loss await her in the land of Skyrim and will herself and Fen'harel finally become on good terms? Or is she to suffer the rest of her life pining after a god who doesn't want to risk his own heart?
