Sa kabila ng lahat ng ito, isang tao lang ang patuloy na nagmamahal sa kanya-ang kanyang half-brother na si Lucas. Ngunit dahil sa takot na muling maiiwan, tinanggihan niya ito, iniisip na hindi siya karapat-dapat sa pag-mamahal.
