Jasmine was always the girl that spoke her mind, but that all changed when her mother got a divorce and married her abusive stepfather. She's stuck living with her abusive stepfather, her brother Ryan who doesn't acknowledge she exists anymore, and a scared mother. She's been bullied ever since the age of eleven, which is also the same age the abuse started. Jasmine has contemplated many things, such as running away, or even suicide, but she patiently waited for her mate; the one person who was supposed to love her unconditionally. She thought he would rescue her from everything and anyone, but when she meets Zane, her hopes are brought up, only to be brought right back down when he rejects her.

Read to find out how Jasmine handles being bullied, beaten, and rejected.
