Jesse Mccree is an 18 year old teenager who lives with his two dads, Gabriel Reyes (whom he calls Padre) and Jack Morrison (dad) and his little Sister Sombra. He was unaware of the fact that his pen pal from Hanamura, Japan would move here to the States with them for a Long period of time.
Jesse is very smitten with his pen pal and so is his pen pal, Hanzo Shimada. The two of them are very much playing with each other's games and they quite enjoy it.
Genji Shimada is Hanzo's younger Brother who can't choose between the sweet bald, peaceful kid Zenyatta and the Swiss nurse in his school, Angela Ziegler. What will he do at this point? And who will he ask out?
Jack Morrison and Gabriel Reyes are very much handsy with each other and evidently in love. They always reminisce about their past back in Overwatch. Gabriel's a CEO of his father's company whilst Jack is a freelance architect who spends his daily life purely listening to Mariah Carey (Gabe enjoys it too but he pretends to hate it).
So, how will their story unfold? Will romance bloom for both Jesse and Hanzo? Will Genji finally pick a choice from two gorgeous beings? will Gabriel ever stop cockblocking his Son? Will Sombra be honest with her "business"? That's for you to find out.

Genji has worked for Blackwatch ever since he was murdered by his own brother, being one of their highest ranking officers. However, after Genji makes a drastic mistake in an important mission, Commander Reyes decides it's best to demote him - all the way back to Novice. While struggling to deal with his anger, feeling betrayed and useless, Genji gets assigned a new mission to show he can, in fact, follow Reyes' orders: he is to welcome a Rookie to Blackwatch and watch over him for his first days. Regardless of Genji's rudeness, the Rookie is determined to be kind to the cyborg. He even seems to worry for Genji's wellbeing; it is something Genji isn't used to, and his feelings about it contradict everything he thought he knew about himself. This story is the continuation of Behind closed doors so if you haven't read that one I suggest to start there. This novel is more storydriven than BCD and also involves more focus on the other characters in the Overwatch family. The story picks up after we left Gabriel and Jack together in the valley and Hanzo and Jesse in Nepal. Even though we could wish for a fairytale ending, life seldom plays out like that.
