How did he find us? My body violently flinched when Elliott laughed. It was a deep, low baritone that vibrated through the floorboards of the plane and struck a chord of primal terror in my chest. My back collided with Levi's chest behind me as I stumbled back. It was over. The realisation made my blood turn to ice. He had found me and I was entirely at his mercy now. "I am deeply wounded by your reaction, my love. Truly, why are you so afraid?" Elliott uncoiled from his seat with a slow, predatory grace. He stood at his full, imposing height, casually smoothing the lapels of his charcoal black suit. An amused half-smile played on his lips that didn't reach the absolute void of his emerald eyes. "I haven't even started with you yet." He murmured, his voice dropping into a dark warning as he stepped out from behind the seat, closing the distance between us.
