Neda is a high school senior who doesn't interact with anyone on a close personal level. She goes to school, works at a diner and goes home to her abusive father.
Semi is also a high school senior and admires Neda from afar. They talk briefly at the diner when he is eating. He follows her home just to watch over her as he stays in the shadows.
Their lives become entwined as they go through the last year of school. A wild sexual relationship begins, but Neda never sees his face.
Will Neda learn of Semi's feelings or will she reject him completely when she finally realizes he is her Shadow Lover.
