After All This Time

When Katie Green’s estranged Father leaves her a house in his Will she can't wait to start the new chapter in her life. At twenty eight she can ditch her boring sales job, leave her tiny flat and she and her Boss-come-boyfriend can finally live together. But a chance encounter reveals Katie knows nothing about the man whom she calls her boyfriend. Left reeling from his deceit Katie quits her job. With the aid of her step mom and best friend of seventeen years, Katie moves into the house left to her and gets a new job at Perfect Parties, an events company.
Jack North nearly has it all. As well as the looks, money and sex appeal he owns a national chain of bar and restaurants. But he doesn’t have that special someone. At thirty two years old he has grown tired of his Playboy lifestyle and returns to his home town of Hyebridge which he left fourteen years earlier and where he is opening a new bar. Jack soon learns life isn’t going to be easy when he is left to organise the opening of the bar and his besotted ex turns up. The reason why Jack won’t become romantically involved with anyone he works with ever again.
When Katie meets Jack North to discuss the opening of the bar there is an undeniable attraction between them. But Katie swiftly realises that Jack is her best friends older brother who moved away from the area and who doesn’t appear to recognise her. Blown away by Jack’s good looks and their flirtatious banter, Katie decides to keep quiet about their past. When Jack agrees for Perfect Parties to arrange the opening their further meetings only heighten the sexual tension simmering between them, and Jack finds himself falling for Katie.
