Aprendimos a crecer.

I exhaled, shaking my head in disbelief. "Welcome, Mrs. Vedant." She raised a brow, smirking. "Are you ready to become my puppet, Mr. Vedant?" ________________________________________ Anaya had always been a dreamer, lost in fictional worlds. Books weren't just entertainment; they were her escape. Reality was dull, full of responsibilities she had ignored for years. She had lied to her parents-told them she was preparing for JEE, that she needed time away from school to study. They believed her. She made them believe her. When she decided not to give JEE, she came up with another excuse: "I've realized I don't want engineering. I'll do UPSC, so I'll take CUET instead." And they trusted her again. But she hadn't been studying. Time had slipped away in distractions-books, social media, and then, anime. Her brother had always told her to watch anime, but she never cared. Then, in 10th grade, she overheard a boy in her class talking about One Piece. His passion intrigued her, so she gave it a try. And just like that, she fell into another loop-binge-watching episodes for hours, days, weeks. Now, she had one month left for boards and two months for CUET. The weight of her wasted time pressed on her chest. How did I let this happen? She had no option but to fix everything. Vasant, on the other hand, was everything she wasn't. Strict, studious, disciplined. He followed a routine, stayed up late to study, and was determined to crack JEE. But inside, he was drowning. Some nights, he felt so overwhelmed he cried. Yet no one knew. To the world, he was just another hardworking student. He hated books but loved anime. He didn't know that a girl in his class had once listened to him and fallen in love with his favorite anime. He didn't know that their lives had unknowingly intertwined years ago. And they still didn't know each other. But fate wasn't done with them yet.

Genevieve Anderson, the girl that had been left behind and forgotten. In a town where everybody knows everybody, meaning that no one goes unnoticed. Nobody just grabs a bag and leaves in the middle of the night, without someone seeing something. Nobody changes identity over night, and is suddenly left with the care of their father in her hands. Forgotten over night, Genevieve changes the person that everyone thought they knew. Gone was the girl that would smile and wave to everyone, was replaced by a girl that had a need for stealing and getting by every day. She had been left with the responsibility of an old ranch that was no longer in operation and the care of her father, who had been to war, and was suffering from additions like there was no tomorrow. Gone was the girl that depended on her big brothers to open the gate, replaced with a girl that worked long hours at the ranch, before she was sneaking out after midnight, to drive whatever cars her brothers had left behind. Except, one day, something happens and everything takes a turn for the worse. "I left you here, for 20 minuets, and you have already let him relapse?! I trusted you, for a second, and you backstabbed me?! I can't believe any of you anymore, because you are made of lies!" Holding on by a string, Genevieve isn't sure how much more she can take, especially when people appear from the past she thought she left behind, when she was 5 years old. Time moves on for a reason, doesn't it? "I told you to forget about it. It's in the past, and nobody has ever asked me to do what you are asking me to do. You are asking me to put away my boots and hat, and stand in front of people in heels and a puffy dress. That's not who I am, if you had stuck around to find out who I really am. A One Piece x Gender Neutral Reader! .・゜゜・・゜゜・.» ──────» ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐶ «────── « .・゜゜・・゜゜・. "Ugh I don't got time for this shit, if only Ace just grabbed Luffy and ran instead- bUT NO- HE HAD TO FUCKIN DIE." Fumbling around my jeans for the carabiner that held my Student ID, which was the key to my door, I was thinking about the frankly, quite amazing dream I had the night before. Don't ask me how but I managed to dream about Law and the Straw Hats. Stars appeared around my face as my eyes turned all dreamy. "Ah, to be so close to Law~ if only I could be dropped back there~" I finally slide my key card in my door, seeing the little green light flash at me five times to let me know that my card had been accepted. I opened my door and walked in, relishing the space I had been given, especially since I didn't have a roommate. Setting down my satchel that had all my supplies by my desk, I walked over to my bed and flopped down onto it and let out the most horrendous screeching noise I could into my soft pillow. "Ah, much better!" I said while lifting my head off the poor pillow, which looked slightly traumatized, "Welp, it's time for dinner now I guess, and by dinner I mean crackers or something because I don't feel like going to Commons." I stood up from my bed and stretched, expecting to feel the nice feeling of some of my sore spots cracking, but instead- "ACK- WHAT THE FUCK-" .・゜゜・・゜゜・.» ──────» ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐶ «────── « .・゜゜・・゜゜・. There are descriptions of violence, abuse, trauma, and depression occasionally in this story, along with dark themes. I want to make those scenes as realistic as possible, so if any of the above triggers you, think of maybe reading another one of my One Piece stories. If not, then prepare for the long ass ride that is this book!

Strands of your mind cling together like web to a slippery leaf bathed in the morning dew. You have seen both heaven and hell, witnessed the atrocities of war firsthand, and imagined a better life in the deepest, most intimate corners of your dreaming spirit. The wishes for peace and certainty you have once so desperately longed for, now lay trampled underneath the might of your mind's vivid horrors. What was once so bright and lively, now cowers in fear, clinging to gone memories like a shipwreck survivor to some lowly piece of driftwood. From the depths of hell, you arrived victorious, grasping the laurel wreath high above your head. Unrecognizable, with your empty eyes telling a story of innocence brutally taken away from the child curling in shame in the depths of your empty soul. Almost green you are, curly head, having grown up with a rifle by your bedside table, never knowing peace and quiet. Out of the pan that was the Kazdel Civil War and into the scorching flames of Lungmen, where life flows by on its own accord, here, you must learn to live once more. So put on your best facade, Let the reuniting trumpets ring a wild, And allow the city to swallow you whole. Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least. As always, please, pwwease leave a comment, positive, negative, I LOOOVE reading and replying to comments!!

Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" "Ezra, you know once you turn them, they hate you," "I didn't hate pops," "You wanted to join though," "True, but first see if she wants to be turn before you jump to conclusions," I nodded my head, before me and Ezra took off to find some fresh blood for the night.

Most fairytales start with Once upon a time... and well, this one too, although this might not seem like your typical fairytale... So, once upon a time there lived a young girl in a big kingdom. Well, she didn't actually live in the kingdom, but on an island by the kingdom. This island was more like a prison where all people were banned who were a threat to the kingdom. This girl isn't one of them, but she's the daughter of one of those people. She grew up imprisoned on that island with her friends, Jay, Caros and Evie and honestly, they didn't think it was too bad. But that could also be because they didn't know any better. They'd watch tv and see Auradon, the place where princes and princesses grew up, where heroes were living their best lives, where kids were happily playing in the sun, where people had proper education and had jobs that actually mattered. But for as far as Mal and her friends cared, life on the Isle was good enough for them and they were just going with it, until one day everything changed. They got invited to Auradon by soon to be king Benjamin. It was difficult to change into that lifestyle, but the four vk's hadn't even really come to Auradon to do that. They had been commissioned by their parents to find Fairy Godmother's wand and free the Isle of the Lost, so they could take over the kingdom. They had a plan to steal that wand during the coronation of prince Ben, but during the time in between arriving in Auradon and the coronation, Mal found herself falling in love with the prince. Not only did she fall in love with him, the four vk's fell in love with the kingdom and realized that living there wasn't such a bad idea. Maleficent on the other hand didn't let go that easily and tried to fight them, but together they defeated her and got her turned into a tiny green lizard. And so it all ended well, you'd say. But this was not the end of the story, no, there's much more to come...
