Jaycee Lynn Roberts has had a rough go at life. Her father left her and her mother when she was young for another woman. Her Mom dates guys who are no better than trash on the street and doesn’t pay much attention to her daughter. Jaycee was left to figure life out on her own.

One day, Jaycee comes home to find her mother on the floor with the old family photo album. They are looking through pictures of the past and decide to go back to the lake for one more summer like they used to when they were a happy family, before everything changed for them. 

How will Jaycee deal with old friends, new relationships and mending broken ones? Will she be able to handle the summer or will she crack and shatter into a million pieces?
