The month of Christmas has come upon all the citizens of France. December. The month of light, as the French would call it. Clara, was the only person I particularly knew that merely loathed Christmas. She always rejected her gifts if they would be given to her on Christmas day since she didn't appreciate the act of Charity of this marvellous and magnificent celebration. My name is Raphael and my goal to accomplish here is to convince Clara into having a little sympathy towards Christmas for once. But is it for a bet? A deal? Or just for my own pleasure? There seems to be a problem. I only have twenty five days to convince her. As a matter of fact, make it twenty four.

"Here's the deal," he began. "I know you don't feel the same way about me, and I know that it's very possible that you'll never return the feelings I have for you. He took a shaky breath before adding, "Besides, we're not really running the risk of 'ruining the friendship' since, and forgive me for the harsh words, but the friendship is already ruined so..." "Well, since you asked, we'd be going on dates, doing stuff that would make you fall for me, and most importantly, we'd act like a couple.
