"Ryder, let's go!" I called over to him.
"Will you just wait?" he asked, looking up and smiling like a little boy.
"For what?"
All of a sudden there was a clap of thunder and rain started pouring down on us. I gasped but felt somehow comfortable. The rain was warm and engulfed us in a warm blanket. Ryder turned around to face me. I smiled at him and he smiled back in return.
"You're unbelievable," I chuckled.
Instead of answering, he walked over to me and tucked a wet piece of hair behind my ear before swooping down to kiss me. I clutched his soaked shirt in my hands and enjoyed this sweet moment.

Ryder and Kennedy are in their senior year of high school. The school year has almost come to an end and as a surprise, the seniors are taking a three week school trip.
