"There is more than one prison. I think you carry yours wherever you go."

Heroes aren't perfect, and neither is the Rebellion.

But when two imperfect people come together to save the Galaxy, the result is hope.

And Rebellions are built on hope.

~

Anya is on the run to find her brother and to keep her freedom. Raised in bond service, out of desperation, she is willing to trade valuable information to the Rebellion in exchange for their help to find the only family she has left and a chance at a better life.

And of course the man most doubtful they'll be able to find the stormtrooper is assigned to her: Cassian Andor.

It's common knowledge that a child taken and raised to obey the Empire is practically dead. All she has is a name and the memories from when she was a child, but she's determined that she can find him.

But what exactly is she willing to do to find her brother? How far will Anya be able to go before she gives up under the annoying tactics of Captain Andor?

And what if her brother really is too far gone to be saved?

Just about 1 year after his fall and arrest, Varian alone in the darkness of his cell, longs for one thing. Meanwhile Cassandra's now endless power rises up, as she swears revenge on Rapunzel for what happened so long ago. Note: This is based off Tangled the Series which if you don't watch it you will be very confused. Sorry this thing isn't very good, it's my first fanfic. If you do somehow end up reading it, and wether you hate it or kinda like it, please tell me what you think! Cover art is not by me! (Couldn't read the name but it started with Cathy I think) Edit: it is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr! I am so sorry for stealing this in the past, if you somehow see this do forgive me! ~ 2025 Edit: Wow, it has been a hot minute. The series finale just hit its fifth anniversary, and as I was thinking about it I remembered this fanfic existed. ...this is certainly a piece of work, lmao. Between the writing style being very reflective of my age to the self-deprecating comments I wrote about my own writing to the stolen cover art (my sincerest apologies for that, I am going to change it but the original is by @codynaomiswireart on tumblr) it is beyond me what was going through my head when I wrote it. It is for that reason I found myself shocked to see it with thousands of reads and comments, which thank you for by the way, I did not realize there was this much demand for moon Varian lol. For now I intend on leaving it up solely because it is hilarious to me and a good reflection on what was at the time a very important show to me. In the present, a lot of my love for the series has been somewhat diminished, due to many factors. But I won't deny what it did for me then, as I have moved onto, what I am hopeful to view as far greater artistic pursuits lol. In the meantime, thanks for reading all this, and I hope whoever is still reading Varian fanfiction in this economy is living their best life. Thanks a ton, Milo
Broken Codes by LeeraIvy
46 parts Complete
Lesia Mirri never wanted to be a Jedi. The rules of the Code didn't sit well with her restless spirit. Lesia resisted their teachings and attempted to close herself off from the Force. In a final attempt to teach her, the Jedi Council assigned her to Master Ki Adi Mundi. During the final months of the Clone Wars, Lesia found herself growing close to her master and she became more open to what he had to say. When the Purge disrupted life as she had known it, Lesia was thrown headfirst into a lawless galaxy. Armed only with the little knowledge she'd bothered to learn, Lesia struggles to make a way for herself. Once, she had shunned the Jedi. Now, the galaxy needs them, needs her, more than ever. The way of the Mandalore is not an easy path to follow, but it is all Nakoa Sen has ever known. As a child, he found himself being raised by a Mandalorian covert, one of the first who called themselves Children of the Watch. Nakoa later chose to venture into the galaxy as a bounty hunter, to provide for his new Clan. He stumbles across Lesia Mirri and eventually recruits her help for a mission. He quickly learns that while he devoutly follows his code, there are others who abhor rules of any kind. Nakoa soon finds himself wondering if he truly knows what path he wants to follow, and if he can actually break the code that his people hold so dear. Nearly five years ago, the Clone Wars ended with a purge that wiped an entire people from the galaxy. As the Empire tightens its fist around the galaxy, Jess makes the decision to escape. Jess makes his way out of Imperial control and, eventually, into the hands of the Rebellion. War is all he's ever known. Whether he is a clone, an Imperial soldier, or a Rebel fighter, one fact remains. He is a trooper and war is in his blood. Ryn Alera has only known slavery throughout her life. The last place she expected to find help was with the Empire. When Ryn is due to serve the rest of her life on Kessel, she makes a stand for her freedom. When a rogue stormtrooper helps her escape, Ryn finds herself trapped in a whirlwind of war and danger. Gradually, she adjusts to her new life on the run, and later, in the Rebellion. As she grows closer with Jess, the man who helped her escape, her values begin to change. Fairy Tale: The Rising Star by Fairytale_Fabler
57 parts Complete Mature
[Fantasy / Romance / Book 2] In Queen Andromeda's unforeseen absence, Scott MacRae has assumed power. His son, Joseph, is his right-hand man. And Pyxis, the fairy city they preside over, has never been more peaceful or prosperous. This is the appearance they need the fairy world to behold. The truth is too cruel to fathom. They are painfully vulnerable. Evil is never very far. So they bury it deep and cling to the hope it won't claw its way out. Scott MacRae knows in his gut that Andromeda will return and that his days could be numbered. It's no wonder he can't focus or sleep at night. His heart is full of holes. There is only one void he can possibly fill - if any. But as both a father and leader, any action he takes will have profound consequences. Joseph believes what he wants to believe - that which makes him admired and respected, a fairy celebrity, everything he wasn't in his former human life. But his truth lurks in the shadows too. Try as he may, he's far from perfect. He can't forgive or forget. Or avoid temptation. He's come so far. He's found his purpose. And yet he still wants what he can't have, an ideal he perpetually fails to obtain. Cassiopeia was always a princess, but for the first time ever, she's assumed the lifestyle she was never granted during her mother's reign. Despite the dress fittings, grand appearances, and a high-profile engagement, she doesn't have any real power in the kingdom she will supposedly inherit someday. She is small. She is wingless. She is not her mother. Her world never fails to remind her. Does it even matter? It's hard to say. Something is missing. Or someone. And she isn't who she once was. The higher they rise, the harder they'll fall? Christopher MacRae. He left four years ago and no one has heard from him since. Is he dead or alive? Is he the solution or the problem? And where is Andromeda anyway? If Christopher and his allies haven't vanquished what remains of her army...then who will?
