A story wrote for a class assignment originally using greek gods in epic poem format. Comments are, as always, welcome and appreciated. Have a marvelous day! "Hark my dearest friends, the tale of a man modest and lowly." "Lorenzo, whom creatures and spirits from realms unknown looked upon and wept, as they awaited his death with which he would be brought peace at last. He walked the cold and fruitless streets out of compassion, his grace unmatched by any of his traveling companions. He found himself in the presence of death more than once, and would yet again, for he traveled great distances to secure the life of a single stranger. His only enemy beyond man itself lie in the anger of Khione, and a great snow storm she would cast upon Philadelphia's skies to ensnare the weary, defenseless traveler. His heart would be his downfall, for he will have adopted the one being he was unprepared to care for; a child. The child that would, unbeknownst to him, become his successor."

Dumb things can kill you. Dumb things can also get you kidnapped. (Who knew!?) That's how it got me kidnapped at least. The scary thing was I knew my kidnapper. He was my best friend. The scarier thing was he was supposed to be dead. • • • But being kidnapped by her supposedly dead best friend is actually the least of Viana's problems. As her story unfolds, she realizes that there is another dimension, another universe, full of creatures that were only supposed to exist in the imagination of men. The creaking sounds you heard at night, the shadows you think you saw from the corner of your eyes, and the monster underneath your bed as a child--they were all real. It was a world full of demons, and monsters; your nightmares come true. After all, things like love and happy endings only exist in fairytales. And this is not a fairytale. • • • Story under slow, but extreme editing! Finished verion will be MUCH, MUCH better I promise • • •
