I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! My real life experience with fiction added :) Returning from my six year hiatus with a new book....my bad.

Not all those who look happy, live a happy life. This is a story based on real life events. We follow the narrator as she goes through her lives story. "Well life can be a real bitch when you think about it. It never goes the way you want it to go no matter what you do. There will always be something to get in your way." (All names have been changed to preserve the identities of those involved.)

Suffering with trauma from mental and physical abuse most of her life, Stella Boris attempts at a normal life, but her journey with no eventual recovery has led her to believe that She can't be fixed .
