I've never been a big fan of movies. I'd much prefer a book to a movie. And I guess you could say I'm not a big fan of Hollywood either. We took a trip there once when I was 13, and I absolutely hated it. I swore to myself that for the rest of my life I would avoid Hollywood at all costs. That worked great for three years, but then something happened.
Hollywood decided to film a movie in my backyard.
Fun, right? Note my sarcasm.
Little ol' me of course tried to remain positive about the situation. I told myself that this was the worst possible thing that could ever happen to me, that there was no way anything could possibly make this worse. Boy was I wrong.
You know, it's pretty hard to avoid Hollywood when they move into your house.
And it's even harder to avoid Hollywood's biggest star, Everett Leyland, when he's staying right across the hall.
Wasn't I in for a treat. (Note my sarcasm, again).

You would think that having a Hollywood star as your best friend would be the most amazing thing in the world right? Going to all the parties, meeting other stars, getting to go on set to their movies, red carpets, fancy clothes, 5 star hotels, movie premiers. Sounds like a pretty awesome friend to have right? Well wrong. I had a best friend but then he up and left me only to become Hollywood's new it boy while I was left behind in Kansas to deal with horrible people in school who just love to hate me, a new step dad who works me to the bone day and night, a mother who forgot I exist, and no way out.
