In the year 2298, space travel isn't shy of being normal. Human's reach has stretched across the solar systems of the galaxy, but an arm can only reach so far. Human's have touched more planets than for their own good, causing tired resources and wars breaking out on several of the now inhabited planets by humans. Jin Edley and his crew have been on a ship for nearly 10 years for one purpose and one purpose only. Save the human race before it can kill itself. The only means of doing this is preforming the unthinkable: travel into a black hole. Note before reading: Contains strong language, some gore and violence, suicide, and implied sexual assault. Current status: posting as much as I can to get caught up with myself, will slow down soon. Chapters tend to be on the longer side, but varies.

Abducted. Modified. Trapped aboard a dying alien ship. And he's the only one who can fly it. Cyrus finally worked up the nerve to leave his apartment... only to wake up light-years from Earth, on an ancient, half-dead starship filled with foul-mouthed Goblins who are just as confused-and just as kidnapped-as he is. The ship, known as the Cosmic Sentinel, has been dormant for thousands of years. Its systems are failing. Its original crew is long gone. And in a desperate bid to survive, it floods its new passengers with the SCANT-microscopic nanites that heal, enhance, and in Cyrus's case... change everything. He doesn't just communicate with the ship-he begins to merge with it. As alien threats gather and the clock ticks down, Cyrus is thrust into the role of reluctant pilot. But flying the ship means surrendering more of himself each time. And survival? That's not just about fixing engines-it's about earning trust, making impossible choices, and building a crew out of chaos. Can a human afraid to leave home become the heart of a starship? Can a pack of misfits become something more than passengers? Fans of The Expanse, Mass Effect, and Dungeon Crawler Carl will love this fast-paced, emotional sci-fi epic packed with sharp banter, big ideas, and unforgettable characters. Book One of the Cosmic Sentinel series.
