Thunderkit. A tiny kit who almost died at birth. A kit who wasn't supposed to live. A kit with great power.
Thunderkit knows she was called many things as a small newborn, but as she grows, something new startles the borders of ThunderClan. Hawkstar, the fierce leader of ThunderClan, fears that shattering news from RiverClan may destroy the heart of the warrior code, but Graymist, the medicine cat, knows that something will save all the clans.
As Thunderkit becomes Thunderpaw, she realizes that attacks on the clan are being aimed at her. Badgers and foxes burn with a kind of possession, each of them trying to destroy the small apprentice. Two cats from enemy clans disobey the code, leading to betrayal and darkness, and when Thunderpaw runs away, it seems like danger and code-less cats with kill ThunderClan forever. But a tiny speckle of hope shines from the center of every cat, and it is up to Thunderpaw to bring that tiny fragment back to the clans.
But always remember, through bloodshed and loss, the warrior code will always bring a warrior back home.
