Based on two characters that appear in Horrible Histories, a British sketch comedy television series, produced for CBBC.

Michael "Mike" Peabody is the reporter of HHTV News, the fictional News programme of the show Horrible Histories.
He reports at the most dangerous events, like battles, plague times, revolutions. He risks his own safety only to get a fine report, and his characteristic phrase is "this is Mike Peabody reporting for HHTV News, really wishing he were somewhere else".

Rupert, Count Palatine of the Rhine, Duke of Bavaria, Duke of Cumberland, Earl of Holderness, commonly known as Prince Rupert of the Rhine, was a noted German soldier, admiral, scientist, sportsman, colonial governor and amateur artist during the 17th century.

In my series of FanFics, they meet at the battle of Marston Moore (Series 2, Episode 7), and they have their first romantic/sexual encounter during the battle.

This story is based around medieval fantasy with some inspiration from the classics (Lotr, GOT) it will navigate the personal lives of two characters who are polar opposites and an increasingly fragile political situation in the world they live in *this is my first time ever writing something so if i suck please dont bully me XD*

To succeed, Rowan must find a way to separate Jade from William before the usurper ruins his plan on uniting his own kingdom with his sister's.
